Look closely and you can see the Terrence Cocktail Ottoman, the wood base of the Ghent dining table and the Walker Dining Banquette!! |
I could not resist including this picture of my DH and Brother enjoying breakfast because it shares the water view that we LOVE!!! |
It looks so nice! The glass top looks even better with all the windows in the morning room. You definitely put a lot of thought into the piece and how it all ties together with your home.
ReplyDeleteThank you! There continues to be lots of thought that goes into the design that I think about often! I want our home to express a eclectic, elegant, warm and glamorous feeling.
DeleteOh my gosh I love it!!! Ok can I be Nadase when I grow up! You have the decorating going on girl your going to have to come on down to good ole southern Maryland and help me get the "chateau" together!
ReplyDeleteNadine, I would LOVE too!!
DeleteWhat style would you want to bring to your home??
Gorgeous! I would love a banquette, but can't quite trust my two boys yet to eat on anything upholstered. It lovely, and the glass table is really perfect with it!
ReplyDeleteBelieve it or not, the best furniture for the entire growing family with little people anD pets is leather! It's a great investment! It wipes spills and stains away much faster and easier than fabric.
DeleteThank you for the compliment! I wanted the fabric to glisten when you saw the chandeliar, table, and fabric together!
Love the banquette! You have awesome decorating skills!!
ReplyDeleteThank you Stacey!! I love interior design !! It's a lot of fun!
DeleteLooks awesome! Perfect in that room :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks Elise!! How are you enjoying your new home? Have you unpacked and started putting those special touches on your home ?
DeleteI love that store!! and its really pretty what u got there, oh to have anything glass in my house lol...the little one would like make smiley faces on it on purpose. can't wait to see the finished product
ReplyDeleteYou know what Asia, the table came from Havertys . I found it last year right at the point it was being discontinued and I had to have it! I know you have to think through choices differently with children but the funny thing is its just my DH and I and we still get finger prints all over the stainless appliances in the kitchen!! LOL
DeleteLOL!! well that's good to know i can buy glass with no fear, altho that OCD of mine.....
Deleteeither way really pretty!!!
Like it or love it! I LOVE it too, Pinkrage! Lol
ReplyDeleteThank you! How is your home coming along?
ReplyDeleteEvery time you post something else it just keeps getting better! I'm so happy for you - one of the friendliest bloggers out there and you have great taste. I hope you're enjoying your new house. It sure looks like you are!
ReplyDeleteHi Tammigirl, thank you so much for the compliments!! I AM TOTALLY ENJOYING OUR NEW HOME! We have done a few other things that I will get to posting soon. This happens to be the biggest project of my life. lol and I am loving it!

Deletemy family was here from New York for my birthday party and I asked my mother to bring her waffle maker with her!! It was so cool to have everyone in the kitchen cooking and enjoying the birthday brunch and the WAFFLES were the touch down!! You know I must order one now! You can now purchase a waffle maker that cooks two at once. Love it and can't wait to get one since my hubby loves waffles!!
I want to start by agreeing with tammigirl. You are one of the friendliest bloggers out there and you do a superb job of keeping up on everybody's blogs and leavening all your compliments. I have not been on that often since moving into our home and have just been so busy since the move. I went onto your blog to check it out and I must say I admire your home and what you are doing with it! It is so beautiful and you have really great taste! Love your kitchen and I love the darker tile you choose for the bath room. I wish I could go back and change some things but too late. We will only be in this house until my son graduates then off to Florida we go. I will take my time the next house we buy. You guys seem like really great folks! Wish you were our neighbors! Lol. I can't wait to see more pics. Your house is FABULOUS!!!!
ReplyDeleteHi Randy and Teresa,
DeleteWOW! You are so generous with your compliments! Thank you!!!!!! I really enjoyed watching your journey and must admit that watching the two of you always warmed my heart. I would have LOVED to be neighbors!!! It is such a pleasure to meet good people!! Double WOW!! You are going to build again! I am sure that will be a pleasurable experience to build in Florida since their materials are different from our region.
Every room you post turns out so perfect (no exaggeration). That is a perfect feel for a morning room, polished and put together without being too formal. I love your sense of style and think you were really blessed with the ability to turn your visions into reality :) Thank you so much for continuing to post your forays into turning a house into your home!
ReplyDeleteHi Christina, just as the others, you are quite generous with your compliments and I appreciate them so much!! It has been a pleasure to bring forth the scheme/theme for our home. I wish we had a MONEY TREE so I can finish it ALL!! LOL I want each room in the house to have a wild factor and set up differently from the norm. Since the morning room has so much natural light I wanted it to have the feel you described above. I have been looking for two chairs to complete the set and I believe I have found them. Too Excited!!
DeleteOoooooooo! So pretty!! And look at that view! Beautiful
