REVERSE FLOOR PLAN

If you have yet to discover this, here is a tip for bloggers who have the reverse floor plan.  We happen to be one of those bloggers with the reverse floor plan and it felt so awkward just to place us in our home before it was built.  We only saw homes with the traditional layout which drove me bonkers.  Anyway, if you want to print out a reverse floor plan, go to the Ryan Homes website and pull up your floor plan.  Click the button at the top and it will reverse the plan for you.  This made such a huge difference for me because I am a visual person and it allowed me connect with our home before it was built.  The other huge benefit was laying out my furniture placements and future structural projects on paper to give to the contractors.

  1. I agree! We are one of those too....I was flipping out that I just couldn't see the "actual" plan. And then I figured out this particular option. Makes so much sense when you can see everything in the correct direction.

  3. They didn't offer it when we signed our contract and it drove me crazy. I had our SR find me a Reverse layout Rome to tour. I almost cancelled the contract when I found out it was going to be reverse layout. I thought I would hate my house and now I can't picture living in the other layout. We only have about three more weeks and I can't wait to move in.

  4. This is so true. We toured the original layout in Virginia and I could of swore the upstairs had a different hall leading to the Loft. But I think it must have all been my imagination LOL. I was totally confused walking into our Reverse Layout for the first time. It felt so weird and different lol
