This picture was taken a couple of weeks ago. I decided to do a night drive by and found the lights on and it bought me to tears. The house looks gorgeous in the night with the lights. I can only imagine how pretty it is going to look next Christmas!! Can't wait!! As you can see, the black front porch shutters were not installed at that time; nor did we have trees and shrubbery on the outside; but it still looks beautiful. We are still waiting for the exterior painting (black door, the white trim and the brick to grade in ivory pearl). |
We stopped by our house the other day when it was just getting dark... it was so weird to see it at night and to actually be able to park in the driveway. It's still hard to believe that we'll be living there in just a few weeks!
ReplyDeleteM, I felt extremely over joyed and filled with emotion when I drove up to see all those lights lit up on the house as if it were a Xmas tree. We are on the home stretch with just 12 days left to closing and I can't wait. I am keeping my promise to myself to not go by until January 8 for our walkthrough (REVEAL DAY)!
DeleteYou have more willpower than I do! I'm not sure how they are going to keep me away! LOL
DeleteLOL!!!!
DeleteSo exciting! I don't know how you can stay away until
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful! I am so excited for you guys! I can't wait to experience that joy. I drove through our neighborhood and was awe struck by other people's houses all lit up. I can only imagine what it's like when it is your own!
ReplyDeleteYou are right, Elise! It is going to make a big difference once we get the keys because we really get to call it home!
DeleteBeautiful! I love your porch! Your self control is amazing! It will be so worth it on your big day! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you, Valerie!! Only a few days left!!
Delete@ M & Cami, I am surprised at myself too because I thought it was going to be difficult but it's not. Actually, one reason is because we are locked out. LOL
ReplyDeleteTwo, I saw everything in the house that I had picked out so there isnt really anything new to see except the exterior which I cant wait to see on the 8th. I don't want to rob myself of seeing the final exterior and interior combined for that element of surprise. Lol smiley face!! Can't wait it's been soooooooo long!!
Looks beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThank you!! Did you blog on your home, Incognito1922??

DeleteI love the house!! I can't wait for your revel day so we can see more photos!!!!
ReplyDeleteI am too excited about reveal day!! I still need to create more storage space for pictures.
DeleteNadase, this only gives you 11 months to plan and purchase your Christmas decorations for Christmas 2013! You'd better get started! It's funny how we thought we had plenty of decorations from our old house until we got here and realized that . . . oh, wouldn't a new wreath look just perfect over the garage . . . and that porch is just screaming for (fill in the blank) . . . LOL. Happy New Year and good luck in your new home! -- RAN
ReplyDeleteRAN, this is very funny!! I have already thought of our theme colors!! You are right, I have some decorations but not nearly enough!! I am going with a white and gold and hints of silver! Can't wait!! LOL Happy New Year to you too! Where is a picture of your house for me to see?
