When I arrived the guys had began preparing the perimeter of the house and the steel beams were installed. I could see across the pond that at least five guys were at work on LOT #52. There roof is up and looking pretty good and now that the framing is near completion I can tell that it is an Milan w/Elevation A and next door on LOT #51 is a Rome w/Elevation A that is further along because they have the brick, siding, shutters, doors, drive way, etc etc. t. Anyway this is where we are at the moment: they plan to work until 7:00 pm tonight.
Not sure what was inside this package; however, it clearly states the correct model w/reverse plan! |
Installed Steel Beams |
This picture shows how they installed the perimeter of the house with the wood and a piece of foam underneath it! |
They are juggling wood from three different locations! The wood is scattered throughout the cul-de-sac! |
It landed safely without breaking! Wheww! |
This is the baby trussel!! |
I love how they label all of the pieces. |
Scattered! This is a good thing because every piece that is pulled from the pile is being framed. |
I am not sure what these pieces are called but they are attached to the perimeter of the roof frame. |
The Ryan Homes Plastic Wrapping once the house is framed UP! |
The floor joists are installed. I left the site today at this point around 2:00 pm and both my husband and I will return before it gets dark! |
Have no clue where these pieces of wood will be framed but they are so pretty. Wood has a whole new meaning to me. |

ReplyDeleteI went back this afternoon and I had those same butterfly's when I saw the progress they made on installing the floor and window frames.
DeleteThis is the best part of the build IMHO. It's so gratifying each day to see the house come together. All those bits and pieces fall into place forming your beautiful home! Congrats Nadase, you guys have been waiting on this for a long time coming! *High Five it out* :)

DeleteI have to say again, I'm SOOOOO glad you're able to actually be there and take pictures of all the details. You've definitely had the best framing pictures I've seen on any of the blogs! And it enables me to not feel guilty that I'm not able to do it. :D
ReplyDeleteThanks for the compliment Amanda! It brings me great joy to catch the work in the moment, in action. Glad these photos help because I love taking them.

Thanks DW! It's been a fantastic week! I did find some red bull on the site yesterday. They need to bring us a dumpster because our lot looks filthy. It was also nice to see that you are going to include more pictures on your blog for your blurb book.

Yes it's an RH home! It is an Avalon! It was one of the first of three houses to start the south side of our community at the Chapel.
