Day 2 - Footers Complete

I was so happy to see these numbers
Our address is official!  Yay!
My new friend from Guatemala!
 He showed me a copy of the prints he was working from for the footers!
SO COOL!

Still working on the Footers--The Footers/Cement Guy said "he will be back to complete them today around 2:30 pm. 
They are ON it!

These guys were waiting for the cement truck!
Cement Truck Arrived at 2:45 pm - Just in time for me to catch the action before class! 
 They are ready to ROCK n ROLL!

This strange tubing looks like a snake -- it will be used to support the sump pump!

I was stunned when I saw this--CAUTION KEEP OUT!!

 They had to use this machine because there wasn't enough room to maneuver the cement truck on the lot so this guy served as the source to fill the footers.  
The two cement trucks ready to work as a TEAM!

I had class tonight so I could not get a picture of the final footers project.  I hope to grab a picture of the finished footers before they install the basement walls. I did get the opportunity to see it but it was too dark to take a picture.

    Look at you go, like I said I cant believe how fast they are working on your home, I still dont understand how your completion date is AFTER mine.....they broke ground yesterday and we are on our way out to see the hole.....I will take pics...

    Do they do this stuff on the weekends??

      Yes, yes, we are moving along as scheduled! My PM said this is their normal timeline for production. I would love for us to close on December 28 but he said they are keeping the targeted date for January 15. As I mentioned, we have several customizations to the home and he has allocated two days for some options that would normally take a day plus the potential weather and people taking off for the holidays. Maybe they will shift there rate of motion and complete us by December 28 because I sure would love to be in the house on New Year's Day with my husband starting our new year with new beginnings.

      DW, I can't wait to see your pictures!!!!!!!!!! BTW-they do work on the weekends too! They will be removing our basement walls tomorrow. They are not playing!!
