LOT #28 I AM DIGGIN ON YOU!!!!!! - Day 1

TODAY  IT  HAPPENED!!!
FINALLY!!!
WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 3, 2012
THANK  YOU  GOD!
As some people mentioned, let the rain stop so the digging can begin and the weather report shifted!  And look what we found today doing our daily drive by!  God is GOOD!!
Walking Towards the Lot

Standing closer to the garage, I looked down and saw these
MEN AT WORK!

The house is now sitting five feet further back!
Check out the pond view!

We already had somewhat of a HOLE so they didn't need to do much digging!
 They went straight to WORK!

The guy on the inside is measuring our FRONT PORCH!!
HOLLA!

Another View of the Front Porch!

Rick sharing the five feet difference!  It made our backyard prruurrtty small!
This means I get to create a lovely oasis in the back of the house.  We opted out of the deck until settlement!  This will allow me to determine the layout of the deck and patio integration.

The 60/40 sink made it to the change order!!
Thanks Michael !!

Capturing moments of our visit later in the evening!

    1. LOL, they are the cutest things to see especially watching them. When I looked over I wasn't expecting to catch that view. They looked like little ants on a farm.

    1. Yes, Sir! We had an advantage point with the hole being partially dug out because they didn't need to spend a lot of time digging! The footers will be complete tomorrow and the walls up by Friday!! YAY!!

    1. Doing the running man with you!! LOL

I forgot to ask our PM for a written timeline at our pre construction meeting? When I saw him yesterday he gave me a verbal timeline for this week--he said the footers will be complete today and the basement wall up tomorrow! I was surprised! Sounds good to me! Fingers crossed they start your home today--either way we are building buddies. lol smiley face

  9. Yippppeeee! What a great view of it all getting started! I have noticed that those with basements take a little longer Have no idea why but maybe inspections? It will all be worth it in the end. Congrats!
